The objective of the guideline is to provide information to all relevant actors of the packaging supplychain on measures to improve recyclability of different types of packaging. The guideline is based on several other guidelines, such as Design for Recycling Guidelines (Plastics Recyclers Europe) or Recyclability by Design (Recycling of Used Plastics Limited: RECOUP). The approach is qualitative, based on a criteria set.
